Return Screw (RS):

Depending on the policy of each country, there are regulations that require the inerting of dewatered sludge of organic origin. The treatment is based on subjecting the sludge to a physico-chemical process together with lime in a 5:1 ratio. The moisture contained in the sludge causes the hydration of the lime, triggering exothermic reactions that lead to the oxidation of the organic matter contained in the sludge. The result is a drier and inert product obtained by the elimination of pathogens.

The RS system, installed on the pump hopper for sludge reception, creates a preferential circuit of dewatered sludge and lime that facilitates the mixing of both before entering the pump discharge area.

Stone Trap (ST):

For liquids that need to be pumped and contain a large amount of unsuitable heavy media, we have a solid decanter system that prevents stones or metals from entering the pump that could damage its internal components. The independent unit “Stone Trap”, equipped with connections DN150 / DN200, allows a flow of up to 350 m3 / h and can be manufactured in stainless steel or alternatively in galvanised carbon steel. Our smaller “stone trap” is integrated into the tunnel area of the force feeding pump, directly between the rotor-stator unit and the pump hopper and protects the hydraulic system. It is included as standard in all B-mix version pumps.

Hamster Wheel (HW):

The system was developed as an accessory for force-feed pumps. Depending on the dry matter content of the dewatered sludge and its organic load, sludge bridges can form in the pump hopper, resulting in a significant reduction in the pump’s flow rate and increasing the risk of dry running. This system, equipped with a double wheel Ø500mm, is installed on both sides of the hopper, and ensures operation without bridging. Made of stainless steel with two motors of 0.25 kW and a rotation speed of 22 rpm.

Pressure control:

Our electronic device counter with flush diaphragm shows via a display the backpressure value resulting from the loss of fluid load in the discharge pipe. It is a protection system that prevents an unintentional pressure increase in the line/pipe beyond the specified and safe values. Over-pressurization can cause damage to the pump itself, to the equipment, or even to the operators. It can also provide information about the degree of wear of the rotor/stator set. We recommend the installation of this protection system in our entire range of volumetric pumps. Power supply at 24V.

Laser level control:

Laser level control: for control and operation of force-feeding pumps. The laser sensor allows starting, stopping, accelerating, or slowing down the pump speed. With this system, the pump operates independently and regulates itself according to its pumping needs. Our laser sensors have several digital and analogue inputs. Power supply with 24V.

Control panels:

For the automation, control and protection of pumps and grinders. In the case of pumps for manual operation by potentiometer or automatic with appropriate inputs and outputs for overpressure, dry running, and overload protection systems. It also has 4-20 mmA inputs for laser level operation. Manufactured for a wide range of powers and configurable according to customer requirements.

In the case of the Diablo grinder, the control panel is equipped with a PLC unit, which is a protection system against the overload of the cutters and shafts of the grinder, which can be caused by clogging. The torque generated by the grinder due to its low speed can cause some of its components to break if a hard solid is present. Once detected, due to an increase in over-intensity, the reversal of the direction of rotation of the Diablo takes place to clear the clogging, and if it stops, the immediate stop of the machine is ordered through the corresponding alarm signal.

Dry-running Protection System:

Microdigital electronic thermostat for temperature measurement in the pump stator. A PT100 probe controls the temperature of the pump stator and increases it significantly when the pump operates dry, i.e., without liquid. This micro thermostat can be mounted in the control cabinet door or on a DIN rail inside. The parameterizable alarm system depends on the location of the pump and the temperature of the liquid to be pumped. Once the selected temperature is reached, a relay (usually open) shuts down the unit to protect it from failure and/or prevent operation at a higher temperature. Power supply with 220 V.
